Abstract:
This study aims to analyze the history textbook for the fourth grade of basic education in the State of Libya to identify the availability of the most important contemporary standards that must be provided in the textbook, in terms of (introduction, goals, content and presentation method, educational issues and activities, the method of evaluation, technical output) and represented a sample The study is in the book of social studies, which is devoted to history for the academic year 2018, 2019, in its first edition, which is titled Sociology for the fourth grade, the State of Libya, and the researcher used the descriptive analyticalmethod, and a list of the most important international standards for textbooks that were analyzed on the basis of it, and the most prominent What the study reached: The degrees of observance of the book to the standards and specifications of the good book, varied, most of the criteria varied between good, medium and weak.
