dc.description.abstract This study is a descriptive study that tries to investigate the pronunciation errors of the native Arabic speakers, who are attempting to learn English as a second language. This paper sheds the light on the factors that may cause problematic pronunciation errors. Factors leading to these problems are mother tongue effect, phonological effect, differences in orthography, and Stages of development. Studying these factors may help to predict some occurring problems concerning pronunciation errors. Therefore, this study tries to provide some useful pedagogical recommendations to overcome and prevent some of English pronunciation problems. en_US
