Abstract:
The concept of natural law and its implications are among the topics that have met with great
controversy throughout the course of philosophical thought, as Greek philosophy has been
concerned with the significance of natural law and the categories and values it contains such
as justice, its types and its relevance to justice and positive law, because human thought in
general and philosophical in particular is closely related to the preceding thought and
following it Through the process of influencing and influencing both from a positive or
negative perspective, as well as the mutual influence between the main currents of thought
during the same age, despite the diversity of races, languages, cultures and patterns of
thinking between nations and civilizations the brain Damage, but this was not a barrier in the
way of the interactive dialectical process of the mutual effects between them.
With the emergence of the Mu'tazila sect, their belief in the mental approach, and their
knowledge of the sciences of Greece, it was natural for the process of intellectual and
methodological influence to take place, Mu'tazilah spoke about the concept of natural law through their concept of justice, justice and human actions in what is known as the problem
of "good and rational ugliness”.
Therefore, this research aims to clarify the concept of natural law among Greek
philosophers, the extent to which the Mu'tazila sect was affected by this concept, and how to
adapt it to suit issues of Islamic thought in the light of the nature of the true Islamic religion.
