Abstract:
The aim of this ongoing study was to identify the requirements for crisis management in the
educational institutions from teachers' perspective in Elquba district. Only preparatory
schools were targeted. A descriptive survey strategy was used in the study where the author
collected, validated and verified data by using a questionnaire through which (4) scopes, were
covered. The study showed that all scopes were very sensitive to the variable sample
responses. It was also noticeable that the sample response, was irrelevant to gender and
teachers' qualifications. Based on the study's findings, it was highly recommended that the
training programs assigned to schools managers, was necessary and making the culture of
crisis management, prevail in the educational institutions, and also, opening a direct channel
with public media in the time of crisis, was required.
