Abstract:
In this paper, we shall study bounded relative unit uniform algebras on compact spaces. We look at certain types of extensions of uniform algebras. We prove that under certain conditions some extensions of some uniform algebras have bounded relative units. In particular, we prove that the systems of root extensions with these conditions have bounded relative units.
