Abstract

The objectives of the study were to identify the degree of practice of time management among the heads of scientific departments in the College of Arts and Sciences / Saluq Alabyar from the viewpoint of the faculty members, and to find out whether there is a difference between the views of the members of the research community about the degree of practice of the heads of scientific departments in the College of Arts and Sciences / Saluq Alabyar To manage time according to the two variables (degree / years of experience). To achieve the goals, a descriptive survey method was used. The questionnaire was used, which consisted of two parts: the first section included general information related to the members of the research community, and the second section consisted of (42) paragraphs that were distributed into four main areas: the field of time planning, time management, time implementation, time control, The sample of the study consisted of (69) faculty members, and to process the data, the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (spss) was used, where the Alpha Cronbach equation, percentages, arithmetic means, standard deviations, and the T. test were used. The study concluded the following results: The degree of practice of the heads of scientific departments in the College of Arts and Sciences in Saluk for time management from the viewpoint of faculty members according to all fields and the overall degree came with a low practice score, There is no difference between the views of the study sample on the degree of time management practice among the heads of scientific departments according to the variables of academic rank and experience
