dc.description.abstract The theme of the classification of the streets' net work in the city of Al-Bayda be included within one of the geography topics of urban transport, this study is limited to the city's streets network which has been classified into four criteria, bases or grades, depending on the classification of secretariat of the people's committee for transport and communication in the city of Al-Bayda, which is the streets of the the first class that takes into account the preparation ,Construction, extension and care in its establishment in terms of length, width and services provided to drivers, it's also know as main streets, highways, or arterial streets that are use to connect the city's neighbors hoods. The second-class streets, which are different from the first type in technical and technological matters, and the streets of the third degree are different from the previous two types of paving thickness and are only suitable for the passage of one car and one direction ,in addition its less expensive that the previous type and faster than in maintenance ,but the streets of the forth degree are also know is dirt's streets. It's no different from the third type except in the seams of paving that are totally non-existent and where traffic services and night lighting are lacking in its streets ,and the speed in it is very slow and it feed the streets of the second and third degree. en_US
