Abstract:
The study aimed to identify the most prominent academic problems among postgraduate
students at Omar Al-Mukhtar University and Muhammad bin Ali Al-Senussi University in
Al-Bayda city and to clarify the effect of both sex and the university in the emergence of
these problems, and the number of the sample members reached (105) students from
postgraduate students The researcher used a measure of academic obstacles for postgraduate
students prepared by the researcher and it consists of (20) items, and the researcher calculated
the psychometric properties of the scale to ensure the validity of the scale, and the study
reached the following result:
1. There are differences in the academic problems of postgraduate students in terms of their
order, as it was found that the highest problem is that graduate students do not have enough
time to enjoy hobbies and social activities, and the least problem is the objection of some
members of the teaching faculty from providing assistance to students.
2. There are no statistically significant differences in the academic problems of postgfraduate
students according to the difference between the sexes (male / female).
3. There are no statistically significant differences in the academic problems of graduate
students according to the different university (Omar Al-Mukhtar / Muhammad bin Ali AlSenussi).
