Abstract:
The study aimed to identify the attitudes of members of Al-Sayed Muhammad bin Ali AlSenussi Islamic University towards the Internet and its use in university education in light of
the Corona pandemic, as the number of the study population reached (255) faculty members
and the scale was applied to a sample of (100), and the number of males reached (66) The
number of females is (34) and they were randomly selected from five colleges (Fundamentals
of Religion, Islamic Economics, Islamic Law, Islamic History, Arabic Language), the
application of the teachers' attitudes scale, Numbers (Muhaisin: 2006), and the scammetric
characteristics of the scale were verified to study Currently, some statistical treatments have
been used using the SPSS statistical package, which are arithmetic means, standard
deviations, T-Test, and one way ANOVA, and the results of the study resulted in the
following points:
1- The field of achieving educational principles ranked first, and it was one of the most
prevalent fields among faculty members, then the field of communication and interaction
with students, then the field of curriculum design.
2-The differences are not statistically significant according to the type on the scale.
3- The differences are not statistically significant according to the chronological age on the
total score of the scale and the fields of the scale, with the exception of the field of
curriculum design and teaching methods. The differences between individuals were
significant.
4-The differences are statistically significant according to the type of college. The differences
are indicative of the field of curriculum design in favor of the College of Law.
5- The differences are not statistically significant according to the scientific qualification,
while the differences indicate the field of achieving the principles of education and were in
favor of the master’s qualification.
6- The differences are statistically significant according to years of experience, and the
differences were in the total degree of the scale, the field of communication and interaction
between students and colleagues from the faculty members, the field of self-development and
raising the competence of the teaching members and the differences in favor of those who
have reached 15 years of experience.
7-The differences are not statistically significant according to the number of times the
internet is used.
8-The differences are statistically significant according to the academic degree in the field of
communication and interaction between students and colleagues, the field of self-development and raising the competence of the teaching staff, and the differences were in
favor of those holding the lecturer’s degree and the assistant professor’s degree.
