Abstract:
The study aims to identify the role of primary school principals in improving the school
environment from the point of view the primary school teachers in the municipality of AlAbyar, and to find out whether there is a difference in the roles of school principals in
improving the school environment from the teachers' point of view according to the variables
of gender, experience and faculty. Reliance on the analytical descriptive approach, and the
study sample consisted of primary school teachers in the municipality of Al-Abyaar, who
were the total of (150) teachers from both gender male and female , the tool of this study
consisted in a questionnaire of (48) phrases divided into 6 areas, and the results showed that
primary school principals have a major role In improving the school environment in the
administrative , technical, the student care, the school activities, the health care, the
educational devices and means, and the local communityfields.The results showed that there
is no difference in the role of school principals in improving the school environment from the
teachers' point of view according to the variables of gender , experience and faculty.
