dc.description.abstract | Fabaceae is one of the most diverse families in the world, known for its environmental and economic potential. The total number of species is 216 and 52 genera. It has many traditional uses, including 37 medicinal species, and 33 species of poisonous, and ornamental represented by 9 species, all the taxa belongs to three subfamilies (Papilionoideae, Caesalpinioideae and Cercidoideae) in Libya. The life form characterized by a high proportion of Therophytes (annuals) with 66.7% followed by Hemicryptophytes with 15.3%, Phanerophytes represented by Keywords: 11.1% and Chamaephytes with 6.9% | en_US |
